viton o-ring

Bread just from the oven ! This photo shows the Viton o-rings that are just from our heating process. This is the last process. That means the o-rings in the photo are the final products now. We made the o-rings for a German company who required very high quality. Now the o-rings are used in their machines and the German company is very satisfied.

O-ring is a small and simple item, but, without the correct one, it can bring you much trouble.   On January 28, 1986, because of the failure of an O-ring seal in its right solid rocket booster, Space Shuttle Challenger disintegrated over the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of central Florida, United States.  This was a disaster for the whole world.

Viton o-rings are ususally in apple green. The photo below shows silicone o-rings for the same German customer, which are ususally orange.
