Synthetic composite yarn is thoroughly impregnated with PTFE to provide extra chemical resistance. No other lubricants or oils are added.

Style 238 is available in the following cross-section range:
1/8" to 1 1/2" (3.0 mm to 38.1 mm)

 

Applications

Style 238 is suitable for alkalis, mild acids, solvents, steam and oils.
Style 238 is recommended for rotary shafts, reciprocating applications, and valves.
