Aramid Packing 214

 It combines dual materials of aramid fibers positioned in the corners for strength and graphite impregnated PTFE lubricating fibers in the seams. The aramid fiber is strong enough to prevent the packing from being extruded while the
PTFE offers good lubrication.

Style 214 is available in the following cross-section range:
1/4" to 1 1/2" (6.0 mm to 38.1 mm)

 

 

Applications

Style 214 is suitable for water, waste water, oils, greases, weak acids, alkaline solutions, and paper mill applications.
Style 214 is recommended for reciprocating and rotary shafts, and applications where good sliding is required.
